Position Title: Finance Manager
Department: Finance & Accounts
Location: Mid-Baneshwor, Kathmandu (6:30 AM – 2:30 PM)
Reports To: Senior Management / Chairman
Position Summary
The Finance Manager will oversee the financial health, planning, and control of the organization. This role demands strong analytical skills, leadership in financial management, and the ability to support strategic decisions with accurate financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and internal controls.
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and statutory requirements.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risks across the group of companies.
- Collaborate with auditors, banks, regulatory bodies, and internal departments.
- Provide financial insights for strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Drive cost optimization, process improvements, and digitization of finance functions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- MBA in Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, including 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing finance for a group of companies.
- Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, compliance, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and MS Office (advanced Excel and financial modeling).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
