JOB OPPORTUNITY
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare structural design and analysis of RCC and steel structures for residential, commercial, institutional, and hospitality projects
- Develop structural drawings, details, and documentation using AutoCAD, Revit Structure, and related tools
- Perform structural modeling and analysis using software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, etc.
- Ensure designs comply with NBC 105:2020, IS Codes, and relevant international standards
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers for integrated design solutions
- Review and check drawings produced by junior team members or draftsmen
- Conduct site inspections, bar bending schedule verification, and supervision during construction phases
- Prepare structural reports, design calculations, and project documentation for submission and approvals
- Attend client and consultant meetings to present structural concepts and resolve technical issues
- Support in value engineering and material optimization for structural systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s in Structural Engineering preferred)
- 3–5 years of practical experience in structural design and detailing
- Proficiency in structural analysis and drafting software (ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of design codes: NBC, IS, ACI, and other applicable standards
- Familiar with soil-structure interaction, seismic design principles, and foundation systems
- Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Effective team player with good communication and coordination abilities
- Licensed engineer (NEC registered) preferred
