Contract Note: Initial 3-month contract with possibility of extension based on performance and business needs
Experience Level: Mid–Senior Level
Salary: NRs 43,000/-
Who We Are
We’re not a typical factory. We’re a community of artists, weavers, designers, and storytellers crafting high-quality, handcrafted carpets with deep cultural roots and contemporary relevance.
Our work spans heritage craftsmanship, modern retail, e-commerce, and curated events. We believe meaningful design deserves thoughtful marketing — work that is strategic, intentional, and commercially effective. We are an inclusive workplace and proudly welcome people from all backgrounds, including persons with disabilities.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly capable Marketing Strategist to lead and execute our marketing efforts during a critical growth phase.
This role has one primary mission: Make our upcoming event a commercial and brand success — and ensure it meaningfully feeds into our retail brand and our e-commerce channels.
You will own marketing strategy and execution across:
- Event marketing
- Retail brand
- E-commerce growth
- Overall brand visibility
This is not a junior or purely creative role. We are looking for someone who can think strategically, plan campaigns, execute decisively, and measure results — while still being hands-on when needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- A minimum of three years experience in the field of marketing
- Proven experience developing and executing end-to-end marketing strategies across brand, retail, e-commerce, and/or event-led initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into clear marketing plans, campaigns, and execution roadmaps
- Strong understanding of campaign planning, including audience segmentation, channel selection, messaging, timelines, and conversion paths
- Experience leading time-bound, high-impact marketing initiatives (e.g., events, launches, exhibitions, pop-ups, seasonal campaigns) with measurable outcomes
- Commercial mindset with the ability to balance brand building and revenue-driven goals
- Solid grasp of digital marketing fundamentals, including content strategy, social media, email, and basic performance marketing concepts
- Ability to define success metrics, track performance, and adjust strategy based on results and insights
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
- Experience coordinating with or directing creative teams, designers, photographers, videographers, or external partners to deliver cohesive campaigns
- Comfortable working independently with high ownership, minimal supervision, and full accountability for outcomes
- Ability to operate in a fast-moving, resource-conscious environment and make pragmatic decisions under time constraints
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience with events, pop-ups, retail launches, or cultural events
- Background in design-led, craft, lifestyle, or premium brands
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels and performance tracking
- Ability to brief and guide creative teams effectively
- Experience connecting offline events to online and retail outcomes
What We Offer
- Ownership of a high-visibility, high-impact project
- Opportunity to shape and elevate a growing retail and cultural brand
- A focused 3-month contract with clear goals and accountability
- Possibility of extension based on performance
- A 5-day work week
- A collaborative, inclusive, and purpose-driven environment
- Competitive contract compensation
- Medical and health insurance
Important Note
This role is time-sensitive and execution-heavy. If you are not able to commit fully to the contract period or attend scheduled interviews, we kindly ask that you do not apply. We value thoughtful, respectful collaboration.
