MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum qualification SLC/SEE with at least 2 years of relevant work experience

AGE LIMIT

• Minimum 27 Years of age not exceeding 50 years as on application deadline

Job Profile:

• Examine and test gold items to determine purity, weight, and its authenticity
• Operate testing tools and equipment such as acid testing kits, electronic gold testers, and XRF machines.
• Accurately assess the value of gold items in line with prevailing market rates and Bank guidelines.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of all testing and valuation activities.
• Ensure strict adherence to the Bank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Safeguard gold items during handling, testing, and storage to prevent damage or loss.
• Detect counterfeit, adulterated, or substandard gold and report findings promptly.
• Provide technical guidance and expert opinions on gold quality and valuation to internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with concerned departments to support gold loan processing and audits.
• Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and ethical standards in all operations.

Required Job Knowledge & Competencies

• Sound knowledge of gold purity standards and valuation principles.
• Proficiency in using gold testing methods such as acid testing, electronic testing, and XRF analysis.
• Understanding of market practices related to gold valuation and lending.
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements applicable to gold-related transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good analytical and assessment skills.
• Effective record-keeping and reporting ability.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Strong ethical standards and professionalism.
• Good communication skills for coordination and reporting.
