Position: Reservations Officer
Location: Kathmandu
Kavya Himalayas is a luxury resort nestled in Nagarkot, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas and the Kathmandu Valley. We combine refined Nepalese hospitality with modern elegance to create exceptional guest experiences.
We are currently seeking a Reservation Officer who is detail-oriented, service-driven, and passionate about delivering seamless guest booking experiences while supporting operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle guest reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms professionally and efficiently
- Process, confirm, modify, and cancel reservations accurately in the Property Management System (PMS)
- Manage room inventory, rate plans, packages, and reservation records
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Front Office, and operational departments for smooth guest experiences
- Prepare group reservations, rooming lists, and pre-arrival arrangements
- Maintain reservation reports, booking updates, cancellations, and no-show records
- Ensure timely follow-up on guest requests and reservation correspondence
- Maintain compliance with SOPs, confidentiality, safety, and company policies
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in the hospitality sector, preferably in reservations or front office operations
- Strong communication, coordination, and customer service skills
- Familiarity with PMS systems (Aegis or similar hotel software preferred)
- Ability to multitask and manage reservations accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in English (additional languages are an advantage)
- Professional attitude, grooming, and attention to detail
Note: This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu, Nepal.
