‘’Manager-Procurement’’ under our Cement Division based in Kathmandu
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the business goals of the Cement Division
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors/suppliers for raw materials, spare parts equipment, and services
- Maintain vendor database and develop reliable supplier networks for cement industry machinery and spare parts
- Ensure timely availability of critical spare parts to minimize equipment downtime and ensure smooth plant operations
- Conduct cost analysis and market research to achieve competitive pricing and quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with stores and maintenance teams for spare parts planning
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and legal requirements in procurement processes
- Coordinate with the finance department for vendor payments, budget adherence, and cost control
- Prepare and present regular procurement reports to management
Key Skills:

Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 8-10 years of procurement experience, preferably in the cement industry
- Strong technical knowledge of cement plant spare parts, machinery and equipment
- Proven experience in vendor management, negotiations, and strategic sourcing
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
