JOB OPPORTUNITY

‘’Manager-Procurement’’ under our Cement Division based in Kathmandu

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the business goals of the Cement Division
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors/suppliers for raw materials, spare parts equipment, and services
  • Maintain vendor database and develop reliable supplier networks for cement industry machinery and spare parts
  • Ensure timely availability of critical spare parts to minimize equipment downtime and ensure smooth plant operations
  • Conduct cost analysis and market research to achieve competitive pricing and quality standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with stores and maintenance teams for spare parts planning
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and legal requirements in procurement processes
  • Coordinate with the finance department for vendor payments, budget adherence, and cost control
  • Prepare and present regular procurement reports to management

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 8-10 years of procurement experience, preferably in the cement industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of cement plant spare parts, machinery and equipment
  • Proven experience in vendor management, negotiations, and strategic sourcing
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
