Position: Manager — Performance Management & KPI Systems

Location: Kathmandu, Nepal

MV Dugar Group is looking for a highly analytical and execution-driven leader to build and lead the Group’s performance management and KPI systems across multiple business verticals. This is a strategic role that sits at the intersection of HR, finance, operations, and technology.

The role will initially focus on the Automobile Division before expanding across Banking, Insurance, Reinsurance, Hydropower, Hire Purchase, Cold Storage, and Construction businesses. The selected candidate will design KPI frameworks, manage review cycles, implement HRMS systems, and ensure performance is directly linked to compensation, increments, and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Management & KPI Systems

  • Design and implement KPI frameworks across multiple business units
  • Ensure KPIs align with overall Group strategic goals
  • Develop scorecards, scoring methodologies, and performance measurement systems
  • Build and maintain a central KPI library with clear definitions and benchmarks
  • Create sector-specific KPI structures for different industries

Target Setting & Performance Reviews

  • Lead annual target-setting and KPI cascading processes
  • Manage quarterly and annual performance review cycles
  • Conduct calibration sessions with senior leadership
  • Ensure fairness, consistency, and transparency in evaluations
  • Oversee Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)

Compensation & Increment Management

  • Manage performance-linked increment and bonus structures
  • Work closely with Finance to ensure compensation sustainability
  • Audit performance outputs and increment calculations
  • Support automated payroll integration and increment processing

HRMS & Data Infrastructure

  • Lead implementation and administration of HRMS/performance management platforms
  • Build dashboards, analytics reports, and performance heatmaps
  • Integrate operational data systems with HR platforms
  • Improve automation and reporting accuracy across the Group

Training & Change Management

  • Train managers on KPI setting and performance feedback
  • Conduct employee orientation sessions on performance systems
  • Drive adoption of a performance-driven culture
  • Act as the central point of contact for all KPI-related matters

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organisational Development, or related field
  • 8–12 years of progressive HR experience
  • Minimum 4 years in performance management, HR analytics, or total rewards
  • Proven experience implementing KPI/OKR frameworks in large or multi-business organisations
  • Hands-on experience with HRMS platforms such as Darwinbox, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Keka, or similar
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
  • Willingness to travel across Nepal when required

Preferred

  • Experience in sectors such as automobile, banking, insurance, energy, or construction
  • HR analytics or compensation certifications
  • Experience working within large South Asian or family-owned business groups
  • Understanding of Nepali labour laws
  • Fluency in Nepali and English
