Position: Legal Officer
Location: Corporate Office, Tangal, Kathmandu
Qualification: Bachelors or Masters in Business Law
Experience: 3 To 5 years of experience in Related Field
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the lab complies with all local, national, and international laws, including healthcare, employment, and safety regulations.
- Oversee the registration and renewal of the company in compliance with the Company Act 2063.
- Oversee the registration and renewal of the company in compliance with the Department of Industry act.
- Manage the registration and renewal of the Lab Permission License with the National Public Health Laboratory (NPHL).
- Monitor changes in legislation and update the management team accordingly.
- Assist in obtaining and maintaining necessary licenses and certifications, particularly for ISO15189 and other regulatory bodies.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and official correspondence for the Managing Director.
- Act as a liaison between the Managing Director and other departments within the lab, ensuring smooth communication.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including government bodies, partners, and clients, on behalf of the Managing Director.
- Assist the Managing Director in managing key strategic projects, particularly those with legal or compliance components.
- Oversee the progress of these projects, ensuring timelines and legal requirements are met.
