Role Overview
As an Intermediate WordPress Developer at Orka Socials, you’ll play a vital role in driving innovation and delivering exceptional results. Excelling in both front-end and back-end development, the ideal candidate will bring expertise across WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow platforms, contributing to high-performance and visually engaging websites.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop responsive websites using WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow
- Convert designs from Figma to WordPress.
- Optimise website speed and performance (PageSpeed Insights).
- Implement robust website security measures.
- Conduct site migrations with minimal(no) downtime.
- A/B testing for optimisation.
- Develop and customise WordPress themes and plugins.
- Manage web hosting and server environments.
- Integrate APIs and third-party applications.
- Set up GA4, GTM, and Google Data Studio.
- Ensure ADA compliance and accessibility standards.
- Maintain a strong focus on detail throughout all development stages.
Your qualifications:
- Proven experience of 2+ years in web development, particularly with WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow
- Solid understanding of web design and responsive principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and detail orientation.
- Familiar with WordPress Visual Builders like Elementor and Divi.
