We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Officer to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve sales targets and drive growth in the construction equipment, chemicals, and heavy equipment sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met, and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities and inform strategic planning.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to clients, highlighting the features and benefits of our products.
- Provide excellent customer service and after-sales support to ensure long-term client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and business progress using CRM software.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in business development, with a focus on selling construction equipment, chemicals, and other heavy machinery.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to different locations as required.
- In-depth knowledge of the construction and heavy equipment industries, including product features and client needs.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
