Position Title: Chief Executive Officer – Clean Energy Division ( Shanker Group)
Location:Â Kathmandu, Nepal (with travel to project sites)
Position Overview:
Shanker Group is seeking a visionary and results-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its Clean Energy Division, which is dedicated to developing and operating renewable energy projects in Nepal.
The CEO will be responsible for steering the division’s strategic direction, ensuring operational excellence, expanding the project portfolio, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the clean energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead overall strategy, operations, and growth of the Clean Energy Division.
- Identify, evaluate, and execute new renewable energy projects
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with government bodies, investors, and industry stakeholders.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and project execution to ensure profitability and timely delivery.
- Champion sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Provide strategic leadership to a multi-disciplinary team, fostering innovation and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven track record of 20+ years in senior leadership roles, preferably in energy, infrastructure, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy project development, regulatory frameworks, and financing models.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to drive large-scale projects and manage diverse stakeholders.
