Position: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) ( Shanker Group)
Location:Â Kathmandu, Nepal
Position Overview:
The Chief Technology Officer will be responsible for leading our technology strategy and driving innovation to support our business objectives. The CTO will oversee all aspects of technology development, infrastructure, and operations, ensuring that our technology initiatives are aligned with our long-term vision and deliver maximum value to our customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company’s overall technology strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead research & development efforts to drive innovation and develop new products, services, or processes.
- Oversee the design, and implementation of the company’s technology infrastructure, ensuring  scalability, security , and reliability.
- Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors
- Use stakeholders’ feedback for necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
- Prioritize development efforts, and ensure that products meet quality standards and customer requirements
- Develop, lead and manage a team of technology professionals. Provide guidance, mentorship, and  technology objectives.
- Stay abreast of technological trends, assessing their potential impact on the business, and making informed decisions.
- Ensure that the organization complies with relevant regulations and standards related to technology, data privacy, and cybersecurity.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 15 + years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving innovation and delivering results
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into technology initiatives.
- Well -versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
