Soil Test (P.) Ltd., an ISO 9001:2015 certified pioneering Engineering & Management Consultancy Firm established in the year 1979 with 45 years’ legacy of providing complete range of dedicated and reliable engineering & allied management services in the field of Buildings, Civil, Geotechnical, Environmental Engineering and Disaster Management. We also undertake laboratory tests on foundation soils and construction materials, chemical analysis of soils, water, rocks, minerals etc. for industrial, commercial or agricultural purposes for varied Engineering Projects.
We are looking for highly enthusiastic, experienced, competitive and dedicated candidates for the following position:
- Receptionist/Office Assistant – 1 position – Kathmandu Head Office
Job Description:
- Entertain, answer all incoming call in polite, cordial and with professional manner. Transfer calls to appropriate persons/departments first informing them.
- Keeping records of all incoming and outgoing letters, documents, parcels, couriers, invitation cards and any other goods/materials/machines etc.
- Monitor, control, reconcile, daily/weekly/Monthly Stock/Inventory, control and keep updated records of stationary items, any other purchased goods/materials etc.
- Order Jar Waters, Tanker Waters for Office Weekly/Monthly and keep updated inventory/stock control.
- Make photocopies, scanning of documents, filing forms/documents, binding documents, reports etc. as per instruction.
- Arrangement of Daily Kitchen Groceries for Daily Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for Office Staffs.
- Keep proper record with data entry in Excel of all Monthly Petty Cash with proper supporting documentations/receipts/filling appropriate forms and reconcile Weekly/Monthly Head of Accounts.
- Collection of petty payments to vendors/suppliers out of Petty cash of goods & services on time.
- Supervise/control Housekeeping Staffs for daily cleanliness of Office premises, Kitchen, Wash Rooms, Garden maintenance.
- Control stocks of Printer Cartridges, Photocopy papers, other office cleaning materials etc.
- Assist in Trials of Candidates, controlling Meeting Room cleanliness before meetings etc.
- Engage in all other Office support activities as per instruction by the Management.
Qualification: +2 or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any other subjects
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 1 to 2 Years of work experiences as Receptionist/Office Assistant in a reputed organization.
- Proficient in operation of software like Excel, Word and Nepali/English Typing.
- Strong organizational, coordination with multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills both in speaking, writing in English & Nepali languages and with superb interpersonal abilities.
- Honest, flexible, dedicated, highly ethical with pleasing personality.
- Preferable having own 2-Wheeler (Bike/Scooter) with updated Licenses
Salary: Negotiable
