JOB OPPORTUNITY
Position: Ophthalmic Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative procedures, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and maintaining patient safety
- Prepare the operating room before surgery, support the surgeon during procedures, ensure patient care throughout, and handle surgical instruments and supplies appropriately
- Maintain daily records and ensure the safety and functionality of equipment in the Operation Theater
- Support corporate and community outreach camps as directed by the operations team
- Support OPD functions when assigned, ensuring continuity in patient management
Qualification:
- Diploma in Ophthalmic Science
- Registered with Nepal Health Professional Council
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work additional hours
- Experience in anesthetic block administration will be an added advantage
