Asian Life Insurance Company Limited, a leading life insurance company of Nepal, invites applications from qualified, dynamic, and result-oriented Nepalese citizens for the following position.
Position: Legal Officer
Job Level: Officer Level
Required Number: 1
Location: Head Office, Maitidevi, Kathmandu
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on corporate, regulatory, and operational matters
- Ensure compliance with prevailing laws, regulations, and insurance policies
- Handle legal disputes, claims, and litigation matters
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities, legal advisors, and stakeholders
- Support management in risk assessment and legal compliance
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university (LLM preferred)
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant work experience in legal inpractice, preferably in insurance, banking, or corporate sector
- Strong knowledge of Nepalese laws, including Labour Law, Company Act, Insurance Act, and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
Age Limit
- Not exceeding 35 years as of the application deadline
Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Proficiency in computer applications
