Position: Credit and Operations Officer (EV Business Development)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Station: On-Site / Kuleshwor, Kathmandu

Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Sunday to Thursday

Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-driven Credit and Operations Officer who will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring accurate documentation, and addressing client needs proactively. The ideal candidate is client-focused, an excellent communicator, and passionate about creating exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Onboarding:

  • Identify and generate high-quality leads of potential PTOs (individuals, samitis, cooperatives) in the automotive sector.
  • Design and execute outreach campaigns in coordination with field teams and partners.
  • Develop and manage a structured PTO pipeline and maintain accurate records.
  • Work closely with financing institutions to pre-qualify and onboard viable operators.

2. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key automotive sector stakeholders.
  • Represent Aloi in relevant stakeholder meetings.
  • Gather market intelligence and update product and partnership strategies accordingly.

3. Project Training & Field Monitoring:

  • Coordinate and supervise training sessions for PTOs (financial literacy, technical use, digital platform).
  • Work with implementing partners to ensure smooth delivery of training and field support.
  • Monitor project activities and provide feedback for continual improvement.

4. Repayment Monitoring & Risk Tracking:

  • Coordinate with the banks and product teams to track repayment behaviour and flag risks early.
  • Engage with samitis/cooperatives to facilitate timely collections and build trust.
  • Regular follow ups with the PTOs and stakeholders for effective repayments.

5. Documentation and File Collection

  • Coordinate daily with PTOs, vendors, and samitis for the collection, verification, and management of documents required for financing and subsidy submissions.
  • Support onboarding of clients by verifying eligibility, collecting documentation, and entering data into Aloi systems

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of proven experience with lead generation, client onboarding, and stakeholder management in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Nepali automotive ecosystem, financing mechanisms, and commercial vehicle usage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in Nepali and English (written and spoken).
  • License and personal vehicle for travel.
