Position: Program Officer Intern
Location: Kirtipur, Kathmandu
INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY
Are you interested in women’s empowerment, community development, entrepreneurship, gender equality, and environmental sustainability?
Women Empowerment Centre (WEC) is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Program Intern to join our team and gain practical experience in development-sector work.
What You’ll Do
- Support the planning and implementation of WEC programs and activities.
- Assist in organizing trainings, workshops, meetings, and community events.
- Support project documentation, data collection, and reporting.
- Assist with social media, communication, and content development.
- Support field visits and community engagement.
- Work closely with the WEC team and project participants.
What We’re Looking For
- Students or recent graduates
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Creative, responsible, and willing to learn.
- Interest in women’s empowerment and social/environmental issues.
- Basic computer and social media skills will be an advantage.
A stipend will be provided in accordance with the organization’s policy.
